North Dakota Could Receive $50M Grant For Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library

(Medora, ND) — North Dakota could get a 50-million-dollar grant from the U.S. Interior Department to help build the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library near Medora. The money will be spent on finishing the museum spaces inside the library. The bill would require a two-thirds match from state funds or non-federal sources, and it would prohibit federal money from going toward the library’s maintenance or operations. The project has raised 240-million dollars in private donations, and construction is expected to cost 333-million dollars.
