North Dakota Could See Record Voter Turnout

(Undated) — Election Day is here and North Dakota could end up setting records for voter participation. Secretary of State Michael Howe says as of yesterday evening, more than 186-thousand ballots had been cast. That number includes more than 98-thousand people who voted early in person and 88-thousand mail-in and absentee ballots. As a comparison, during the pandemic in 2020, more than 273-thousand North Dakotans voted either through the mail or in person before Election Day. Results will be posted on the Secretary of State’s website beginning tonight at 8 p.m. Central.
