North Dakota GOP, Democratic Conventions Wrap Up

(Fargo, ND) — The state party conventions have wrapped up with all but one of the races ending as expected. The GOP endorsed incumbent Republican Senator Kevin Cramer, along with Representative Kelly Armstrong, who decided to give up his re-election bid for his seat in Congress to run for Governor. Armstrong also named his running mate; Representative Michelle Strinden of Fargo. Public Service Commissioner Julie Fedorchak and candidate Alex Balazs faced off for the U.S. House endorsement. After two failed votes, Fedorchak withdrew from the endorsement, making Balazs the winner, though Fedorchak is still in the race.
