(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is ordering all flags in the state to be flown at half-staff in honor of fallen police officer Jake Wallin. The young officer was killed in a shooting in Fargo this past Friday. Governor Burgum says the flags are being lowered “as a mark of our deepest respect for his courageous service and ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.” Wallin’s funeral will be held this Saturday, and flags will continue to be flown at half-staff until then.
