North Dakota Joins Multi-State Effort To Keep Trump On 2024 Ballot

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s Drew Wrigley is among 19 state attorneys general who filed a brief last week asking the Colorado Supreme Court to take action to insure that former President Donald Trump will appear on each of the their respective states’ 2024 primary ballot. Officials say the brief comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed last month arguing that the former president’s actions during the January 6th insurrection stood in violation of the Constitution, and should prevent his ability to seek federal office. In their opposing brief, the 19 states’ attorneys general assert that only Congress has the right to make that call.
