North Dakota Natural Gas Output Hits New Record

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s natural gas production reached a record level of three-point-four-hundred-and-forty billion cubic feet per day in September. This broke the previous record of three-point-three-hundred-and-thirteen cubic feet per day, which was set in August. One billion cubic feet of gas is enough to supply about five-million homes for a day. In addition, the number of producing oil and gas wells reached a preliminary record high of eighteen-thousand-five-hundred-and forty-eight in September as well.
