(Bismarck, ND) — A new report shows that North Dakota has the lowest percentage rate of teacher salary increases, at point-seventy-six-percent. That’s according to data from the National Education Association. In North Dakota, the average teacher salary sits at close to 57-thousand dollars, while starting pay is closer to 42-thousand dollars. State leaders are concerned that they’ll struggle to recruit or retain teachers at this rate.
