(Bismarck, ND) — Kirsten Baesler, North Dakota’s superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction is seeking re-election. She made the announcement Wednesday, and she’s held the position since 2012. The department oversees education in grades kindergarten through 12 in North Dakota. Baesler says while a lot has been accomplished in the department, there’s still important work to be done.
