(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is suing the Biden administration over border policies. The new “Circumvention of Lawful Pathways” rule was put in place to allow for immigrants to lawfully enter the United States more easily. Critics of the new policy say it will worsen existing illegal immigration issues, and North Dakota is joined by seventeen other states in the lawsuit. State Governor Doug Burgum is also one of several governors who are sending National Guard troops to the US/Mexico border in an attempt to tighten border security.
