(Bismarck, ND) — June is peak walleye fishing season in North Dakota, and Game and Fish says next month should be a good one for fishermen. Wildlife officials say the state’s walleye population is looking healthy this year, thanks to a mild winter. North Dakota’s Free Fishing Weekend is coming up soon, and lasts from June 1st to the 2nd.
