North Dakota’s Unemployment Rate Up In June, Still Well Below National Average

(Bismarck, ND) — The unemployment rate is up slightly this month in the Peace Garden State. This according to a report released Thursday by state officials, which said that North Dakota’s unemployment rate was two-point-three percent in June, up from one-point-nine percent in May. Officials said the drop is nothing to be particularly concerned about, as North Dakota’s unemployment rate remains well below the current national figure. Labor officials say the U.S. unemployment rate for June came in at three-point-six percent.
