(Grand Forks, ND) — North Dakota is sharing specialized drone technology with Tennessee. The Northern Plains Unmanned Aircraft Systems Test Site in Grand Forks is collaborating with the Tennessee Department of Transportation on a project. The drone Test Site is helping Tennessee D-O-T create a system similar to Vantis, which is North Dakota’s “beyond-visual-line-of-sight” system. Vantis is reportedly the first Unmanned Aircraft System of its kind in the U.S.
