(Grand Forks, ND) — The National Science Foundation has awarded a grant to North Dakota University to promote molecular biology in rural and tribal schools. The nearly 600-thousand-dollar grant will fund an eight-week molecular biology curriculum development course for teachers this summer. Once they complete the course, the teachers will be provided with molecular biology kits to use in their classrooms.
