(Fargo, ND) — Two officers are being honored for saving a woman’s life last August. Sergeant Andrew Cashin with the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Officer Joshua Persson with Fargo Police responded to the I-29 overpass at 13th Avenue South last summer. There, they helped coax a woman down from the bridge guardrail where she was threatening to jump. Both men were awarded the ND Highway Patrol Colonel’s Award of Excellence and the ND Peace Officers Association Life Saving Award on Saturday.
