One Arrested In Grand Forks Shooting

(Grand Forks, ND) — Grand Forks Police say one person is facing attempted murder charges following a shooting outside a hotel Friday night. Grand Forks PD says it happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the parking lot of the Ramada at 1250 North 43rd Street. Police detained two individuals who tried to flee and both were reportedly transported by private vehicles to Altru Hospital. There’s no official word on their condition, but the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Police say the two knew each other and there is “no known threat” to the public. Police did not release the identity of either individual, but did say the shooting remains under investigation and there may be more charges.
