One Dead Following Crash Near Rollette

(Rollette, ND) — A man has died in a fiery crash involving a semi-truck near Rollette. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened early Thursday evening at the intersection of County Road 15 and 89th Street Northeast, where a man driving a pickup truck reportedly failed to yield. As the pickup truck driver entered the intersection, he was hit by a semi-truck hauling a grain trailer. The driver of the pickup was fatally ejected from the vehicle, while the semi came to rest in a ditch and burst into flames. The semi-truck driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
