(Fargo, ND) — The North Dakota Farm Service Agency says the number of reported livestock losses skyrocketed in 2022. More than two-thousand operations reported losses in 2022 compared to only 18 the year before. The blizzard of April 2022 was the main reason for the increase. Farmers and ranchers in the state have one month to declare losses for 2022.
