(Dickinson, ND) — Twin brothers facing child sexual abuse material charges in Dickinson now face federal charges. Joel and Joshua Opp were arrested and charged earlier this year, though the state charges were dropped now that federal charges have been filed. Investigators claim the two downloaded the material from the internet and other sources between December 2022 and January 2023. Joel Opp’s trial is set for April 9th, while a trial for Joshua Opp hasn’t been scheduled.
