(Berthold, ND) — One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Berthold Saturday night. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a driver lost control of his car while he was driving down Tyler Street at a high rate of speed, causing it to veer off the roadway and crash into a tree. The passenger in the car later died of the injuries he sustained during the crash. The driver of the car has been charged with driving under the influence.
