(Walhalla, ND) — After a decade of pre-development, groundbreaking for Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area near Walhalla will begin in May. It will be North Dakota’s newest state park, and will feature trails, campgrounds, a nature-themed playground, and a visitor center. The North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting construction bids for the project.
