Pembina Gorge To Become North Dakota’s 14th State Park

(Bismarck, ND) — Plans for a new state park in North Dakota are shaping up. The Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area is set to become the state’s 14th state mark, according to an announcement from Governor Doug Burgum’s office. The State Legislature recently approved six-million dollars to develop a new campground, visitor center, road improvements, and more. Pembina Gorge will be the first new state park in North Dakota in more than 30 years.
