Petitions For Recreational Marijuana Legalization In ND Submitted

(Bismarck, ND) — Backers of an initiative that would legalize recreational marijuana in North Dakota have submitted petitions to the state in hopes of getting it on the November ballot. The initiative required a minimum of 15-thousand-five-hundred-and-eighty-two signatures to make it to the ballot, and it’s gathered well over 22-thousand. The state has until August 12th to verify all the signatures.
