Proposal Would Put Age Limit For North Dakota Congressional Candidates

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakotans may be voting on a proposed congressional term limits bill. The legislation would place an age limit of 80 years for anyone running to represent the state. The initiative is being led by chairman Jared Hendrix, and multiple North Dakota lawmakers have reportedly shown support for the measure. In order for the measure to appear on the ballot next year, the petition would require signatures from over 31-thousand North Dakota voters.
