(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Senate is rejecting proposed ballot measures relating to term limits and the length of the legislative session. The state Senate voted down a measure yesterday that would have extended the term limits that were approved by voters last year. A measure that would have also added days to the legislative session also failed in the Senate yesterday. That bill would have added 20 days to the legislative session. Days to reconvene and reconsider a governor’s veto wouldn’t be counted toward session days.
