Public Hearing On New Williams County Transmission Line Scheduled

(Williston, ND) — The North Dakota Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing on the construction of a new transmission line in Williams County. Basin Electric Power Cooperative wants a permit from the P-S-C for a nearly 15-mile-long line. The project would start at the Pioneer Generation Station and end at the Judson Switchyard west of Williston, and would cost about 31-million dollars. The public hearing is scheduled for February 1st at 9 a.m. at Williston City Hall.
