Public Votes “No” On Fargodome Expansion

(Fargo, ND) — The public has voted against a 140-million dollar plan to expand and renovate the Fargodome. Unofficial results show that 48-percent of people voted “no,” while 52-percent voted “yes.” To pass, the measure would have needed to get 60-percent or more “yes” votes. Prior to the vote on Tuesday, locals voiced skepticism and concern about the project, which would have raised taxes. The voting results will be finalized on Monday, December 18th.
