(Bismarck, ND) — The deadline to get your REAL ID is creeping up for North Dakotans with hopes of travel. Beginning in May, you will need a REAL ID-compliant ID to get on a domestic flight. REAL ID’s are also required for certain federal facilities, like a post office or federal courthouse. Minot International Airport director Jennifer Eckman says that during heavy travel seasons, it may become an issue for those who don’t travel often and have no idea. The deadline is May 7th.
