Recently Passed Measure May Lead To Bigger Tax Returns

(Bismarck, ND) — You may be getting a larger tax refund this year, thanks in part to a recently-passed measure that provides 515-million dollars in savings to North Dakota taxpayers over the next two years. The state tax department has seen a spike in the number of North Dakotans receiving a refund. This has prompted many people to file their returns early. As of April 1st, the Office of the State Tax Commissioner has received more than 256-thousand individual income tax returns out of an anticipated 470-thousand. The deadline to file is Monday, April 15th.
