Rep. Scott Dyk Resigns From State Legislature

(Williston, ND) — Williston area Republican Representative Scott Dyk has resigned from the state Legislature. He announced his resignation on Sunday in an email he sent to legislative leadership. He cited family health issues as his reason for stepping down, and called serving the people of District 23 a “tremendous privilege, honor, and responsibility”. The District 23 NDGOP executive committee will now have to appoint a replacement to fill the remainder of Dyk’s four-year term.
