(Bismarck, ND) — A report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows an increase in workplace deaths in North Dakota. There were a total of 37 in 2022, which is three more than the previous year. About 35-percent of those were from “transportation incidents”, meaning accidents involving road or train travel. The report finds workplace fatalities appear to becoming more frequent across the nation.
