(Bismarck, ND) — Road workers across North Dakota are thankful for this year’s mild winter. The workers are taking advantage of the warmer-than-usual conditions to get work done ahead of schedule, including crack-sealing on Interstate 94. Sealing the cracks with hot oil and tar wasn’t possible last winter, and N-DOT officials say it can extend the lifespan of a road by up to seven years. Crews will also soon start working on repairing potholes, culverts, and guardrails.
