(Minot, ND) — The Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot is holding its first-ever “Wild at Art” gala tomorrow night to raise money for a new African plains habitat for the giraffes. It’s a tall order, but the Greater Minot Zoological Society says it’ll give zoo-goers a chance to see the giraffes all year round. The gala will feature a live auction of local artists’ paintings, sculptures, and photography. It’ll be held at the Sleep Inn, and tickets are available on the Roosevelt Park Zoo’s website until noon tomorrow.
