Runway Work Continues At Grand Forks International Airport

(Grand Forks, ND) — Repair work on a damaged runway is affecting operations at Grand Forks International Airport. The runway was damaged when it buckled due to high temperatures, breaking into four twelve-and-a-half foot sections. The emergency repairs are expected to cost over eighty-two-thousand-dollars. Airport executive director Ryan Riesinger says the goal is to have the runway open again by Tuesday.
