(Fargo, ND) — The Fargo School Board is throwing support behind Superintendent Rupak Gandhi’s defiant stance against the governor. Gandhi spoke out against the divisive anti-trans laws signed by Republican Governor Doug Burgum this week. Gandhi spoke to the board Tuesday night, saying his priority is student safety, not the office of the governor. While the school board hasn’t taken any official action against the state’s new rulings, members have echoed Gandhi’s sentiments.
