(Christine, ND) — A semi-truck caught fire on Interstate 29 Tuesday afternoon. It happened near Christine in Richland County, and officials say the fire started after one of the truck’s tires blew. The driver was able to safely exit the truck before the trailer became engulfed in flames, and nobody was injured. The fire closed the southbound lanes of I-29 for several hours, and the truck driver was later cited for driving with a suspended license.
