Severe Storms Cause Damage In North Dakota

(Dickinson, ND) — Severe thunderstorms caused significant wind damage and power outages in western central North Dakota. The storms moved through the area late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, downing numerous power lines, with power poles reported down near Dickinson, Belfield, Richardson, and other areas. In Gladstone, winds gusting up to 84 miles-per-hour flipped over campers. Roughrider Electric Cooperative crews are working to repair poles and restore power to communities in the area.
