Sex Offender Escapes Electronic Home Monitoring

(Grand Forks, ND) — Law enforcement is searching for a Grand Forks man who escaped from electronic monitoring custody. According to officials, known sex offender Bill Brown Jr. cut the monitoring bracelet off his ankle and has fled. Brown had just reportedly finished a ninety-day long incarceration sentence, and fled from custody just forty minutes into starting his ninety-day home monitoring sentence. He’s described as five-foot-nine inches and weighing one-hundred-and-sixty pounds. Anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts is being asked to contact the Grand Forks Police Department.
