(Portal, ND) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection caught a group of people trying to illegally enter North Dakota from Canada on July 4th. Authorities say the group of six was arrested near the small community of Portal in Burke County. The group is charged with illegal entry, and the U.S. Border Patrol Grand Forks Sector congratulated the agents for their vigilance.
