Smoke Causes Movie Theater Evacuation

(Williston, ND) — Thick smoke that filled the inside of a Williston movie theater caused an evacuation of the building. The incident happened at the Grand Theater on Wednesday evening, and resulted in the fire department being called to the scene. An inspection revealed that the smoke had come from a popcorn machine in the theater. Over a hundred people were evacuated during the incident, and no injuries were reported.
