(Bismarck, ND) — Owners of electric vehicles may be able to find more chargers on the road in the state. The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced its plans to invest more than a million dollars to place more EV chargers throughout the state.
The DOT says 16 communities in the state are eligible to receive funds for one charging station with two or more “fast” chargers. Officials said this is a separate initiative from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. That program is geared to put chargers in North Dakota on I-29 and I-94.
