State Fair Features Rodeo & 4-H Competitions; Overall Activity Keeps Police Busy

(Minot, ND) — The Ranch Rodeo is one of the featured events at the North Dakota State Fair today. The rodeo will get underway at 7 p.m. in Arena 1. Earlier in the day there is the 4-H Sheep Show at the Main Expo Center, the Dairy Goat Show at 3:00 in the East Expo Center and Mutton Bustin’ starts at 6:30 in Arena 1.>>

Meantime, calls for police have increased at this year’s State Fair compared to 2022. Officials say some of that is due to bigger crowds at the concerts. There have been a number of heat-related calls and assaults reported. Sixteen kids reported missing have all been found. And police advise taking a picture of your child and with a hard copy you can write your name and phone number on it and put it in your child’s pocket in case they get lost.
