(Bismarck, ND) — Officials in North Dakota are urging PowerSchool users to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Wednesday, the company that stores student information for school districts announced a nationwide data breach. Parents use the software to check student’s grades, attendance and more. According to TechCrunch, hackers were able to access student’s social security numbers, grades and medical information. North Dakota Information Technology says its working with PowerSchool and school districts to assess the scope of the data breach.
