Statewide Tornado Drill Today

(Bismarck, ND) — Don’t be alarmed if you hear tornado sirens today. It’s North Dakota Severe Weather Awareness Week, and tornado sirens in cities across North Dakota will sound as part of a statewide tornado drill. North Dakotans are encouraged to participate in the drill and practice their tornado safety plans. Crews will also be checking individual sirens and will briefly activate them for routine maintenance from April 25th to May 1st.
