Study Shows State’s Most Common Crimes

(Bismarck, ND) — A study shows the most commonly-reported crimes in North Dakota. The study was done by Jorge Vega Law and uses 2021 crime data, and shows that drug crimes are the most frequently reported crimes in the state. Just behind it, cases of simple assault came in second. Drug Equipment violations were found to be the third most common, defined as crimes that involve importation, possession, or distribution of drug-related items or equipment. Jorge Vega called the study “a fascinating insight into crime in the US.”
