Sub-Zero Temps, Life-Threatening Wind Chills Into Next Week

(Bismarck, ND) — The frigid arctic air coming in from Canada is expected to stick around for a while, along with the life-threatening wind chills in western and central North Dakota. Meteorologists at the National Weather Service say those wind chills could reach as low as minus 55-degrees at night. The cold snap is expected to last through Tuesday, with the lowest temperatures and blizzard conditions forecast for the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday won’t get above zero. Overnight lows will reach 20 below.
