Survey Shows Drop In Antelope Population

(Bismarck, ND) — An ongoing survey conducted by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department is showing a decreased number of Pronghorn Antelopes in the state. The department looks for signs of an abundant antelope population following each winter before hunting season opens. The survey takes two weeks to complete, and so far, it has found signs that the population may be down this year. Antelope hunting season is currently set to start on October 6th.
