Teacher Negotiations Ongoing In Williston

(Williston, ND) — The Williston Basin School District and the Williston Education Association are engaging in ongoing negotiations. The two sides met yesterday evening to discuss contract proposals. Tentative agreements were reached on some minor contract language changes, along with adding five more days of bereavement leave for educators impacted by the loss of a child or spouse. The WEA has introduced their salary proposal, which has been countered by the district. The board isn’t commenting on the status of negotiations.
