Theodore Roosevelt Expressway Gets $55 Million In Funding For Expansion

(McKenzie County, ND) — The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded 55-million-dollars to fund the expansion of U.S. Highway 85, also known as the Theodore Roosevelt Expressway. The money will be used to widen thirteen miles of the highway in McKenzie County from two lanes to four lanes. North Dakota Senator John Hoeven says the project will help reduce traffic delays, while improving safety and supporting the region’s economic growth.
