(Thompson, ND) — A Thompson man faces multiple charges following a SWAT standoff at a home. It happened late last week after a woman in the home reported that 35-year-old Kyle Spicer was armed with a gun, was suicidal, and said there were four children in the home. SWAT was called to the scene, and police say Spicer fired a single shot from a rifle at one point during the standoff. The woman was allegedly assaulted by Spicer when she tried to leave the home with the kids, but they eventually made it outside to safety. Spicer later surrendered, and he faces multiple charges including, terrorizing, and felonious restraint.
