Three Arrested After Child Ingests Opioids

(Minot, ND) — Three people are facing criminal charges after a child allegedly ingested opioids. Officers were called to a home in Minot on Monday, where a child was reportedly struggling to breathe and was going in and out of consciousness. Police say the child had chewed on tin foil before he experienced the symptoms, and came-to once Narcan was administered. Dustin Strenke, Curby Pagel, and Connie Wheeler were arrested and charged with endangerment of a child, and are scheduled to be arraigned on August 4th.
